Art at The Erewash Museum New dates - 20 November to 21 December 2024. Following our successful exhibition in 2023 we have been invited back to present a bigger exhibition which we hope will feature the Pentrich Revolution Appliqué as well as the Pentrich Quilt and the 45 paintings by local artists.

We have had a very busy summer with our walks programme in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (n.b. See below for important changes). Once again the Derby walk with a visit to Derby Gaol was a particular highlight. The Historical Fair, jointly planned with the Alfreton and District Heritage Group, was a great success with over 200 people attending.

We are pleased to announce the imminent publication of a new book by Caroline Taylor entitled Revelations of the Revolution. It is a product of sixteen years of historical and genealogical research which reveals some previously unknown facts and connections about key players in the Pentrich Revolution.

To celebrate our tenth year as a heritage group and charitable organisation we are planning an exciting programme for 2024. Between June and October we will be doing ten of our popular Pentrich Revolution walks including Alfreton, South Wingfield, Sutton in Ashfield, Eastwood, Ambergate, Heage, Derby, Ilkeston and Holbrook (new for 2024) as well as the slightly longer Aftermath walk.

Our main activities over the summer (and into the Autumn) of 2023 has been our programme of walks. There were 11 of our Pentrich Revolution walks with the Pentrich one also open to the Amber Valley Autumn Footprints series.
