Job Title: We are seeking to appoint the following service providers on a freelance basis;

 



Organisation: Pentrich and South Wingfield revolution Group


Location: Amber Valley district and adjacent areas in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire


Job Type: Part Time, flexible working as arranged with the Project Manager.


Contract Type: Fixed term from 1st May 2017 until December 31st 2018.


Salary: There is a fixed budget for each area of service provision and applicants are asked to state either a day rate or an overall fixed price for delivering the service specification.


Closing Date: Monday 10th April


Job Details:


The Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution Group was formed in 2014 as a single purpose community organisation dedicated to increasing and retaining awareness of the 1817 Pentrich Revolution. It is now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation ( No. 1166940).


Its objectives are:

• to commemorate the bicentenary of the 1817 Pentrich Revolution,
• to educate and increase awareness about the revolution and its consequences,
• to establish a legacy which preserves and entrenches the heritage of the Revolution.


We have now received an award of £66,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to pursue these objectives under the heading of Pentrich 2017 - Commemorating the forgotten revolution.

There are many aspects to this project including commemorative events, exhibitions and walks. There are also community arts projects, study days and an educational outreach programme.

The service specification will run from 1st May 2017 until December 31st 2018. The successful candidate will be self employed and must be prepared to work flexibly with some periods of intense activity and others of relative calm. You will also be free to work for other organisations while in this post.
